This chapter provides a
comprehensive framework for selecting appropriate statistical techniques in
social science research. The selection process involves four critical
considerations: research objectives, the level of measurement for data, effect
sizes, and assumptions about data distribution. By following this systematic
approach, researchers can ensure their analytical choices align with their
research goals and data characteristics.
